Very glad to inform u all that i participated in a Guinness world record event.It took place on Mother's Day(09-05-2010) organized by Arya Vysya Sabha of Vridhachalam City.It is the
"Most people simultaneously painting Goddess Kanyaka Parameswari."
More than 3000 people participated in this event.Kudos to the organizers for making arrangements for so much people.
I came to know about this event through my SIL and reached her place the day before.The time given was 2 and half hours. We should only water/oil painting.And i need to add that with regards to arts or even simple drawing i am very poor.But after participating i had a sense of relief.It was an excuse for me to just unwind without my kids.My husband took care of them.
Still to receive any intimation from them.They've applied for both Limca and Guinness book of records.All the newspaper and television representatives were there to cover this event and my MIL was exclusively covered for she was painting using left hand.She's a left-handier.Myself,MIL,SIL and her daughter(7yr old) participated in this event.
